While most fields are optional, they may be required if you intend to upload the log to certain websites.
This is your callsign, pre-filled with the one from your profile. However, you can change it at any time, even during activation.
Enter your park (or parks) here. You can include as many parks as you like; Smart Logger will handle the log export by creating separate logs for each park when the time comes.
Enter your frequency in either KHz or MHz, and the app will automatically convert it for you. If you're accustomed to writing frequencies with a .0 at the end (as required by the POTA website), the app will handle that as well!
Your band will be automatically calculated when you enter the frequency.
If you leave the frequency field empty and select a band, a default frequency corresponding to the start of the selected band will be automatically used.
Your mode, if you select CW the app will use default RST values that you can configure in settings

Current date. By clicking on the pause icon, you can enter a custom date, which is useful if you're transferring a log you previously wrote on paper.
This button allows you to show or hide additional settings that may be useful in certain situations.
Fields such as "My Rig" and 'My Antenna' persist between logs, although you can always modify them as needed.
If the "Club Callsign" field is filled in, it will be used as the "Station Callsign" when exporting the ADI file.
"If you click on that button, a window will open, allowing you to send your spot to the POTA cluster. Simply fill in the comment if you wish, then hit 'Send.' All other information will be automatically pulled from the fields you filled in earlier.
